KOSHER
The KOSHER certification is a food and food manufacture quality control system per Jewish religious standards, covering raw materials and manufacturing processes.
Under the KOSHER certification, Química Liposoluble confirms its philosophy and commitment to quality.
HALAL
In Arabic the word halal, wich meaning is “permissible”, is used in accordance to the sharia or islamic law, to refer not only to nourishment but to all types of practices permitted by such law.
In consideration to the requirements of the Muslim market, in Quimica Liposoluble we obtained the halal certification for our overbased calcium sulfonates in white mineral oil and our overbased calcium sulfonates in synthetic oil (PAO).
These products, free of components of animal origin, are ingredients in the formulation of lubricating oils and greases used in machinery for processing and handling food and where such lubricants could have an incidental contact with food.
NSF International
The NSF mark guarantees that a product has been tested by one of the most respected independent certification organizations. The NSF mark represents compliance with all the standard requirements.
NSF International conducts unannounced periodical inspections and product testing, in order to verify that they continue to comply with the established standard.
According to NSF International, the NSF mark also provides:
- Certainty that an impartial review has been carried out in accordance with established guidelines and criteria.
- Evidence that the product’s labeling has been checked by a reliable third party.
- Means to differentiate from similar products.
- Evidence that the manufacturer is committed to quality and safety.
- Permanent support by a professional team devoted to public health and safety.
Certifications
Our high alkalinity calcium sulfonates in white oil, QLS-206WO and QLS-207WO, have been certified with the HX-1 code of NSF International. These sulfonates are used in the manufacture of greases and lubricant oils to be used in food handling and processing equipment. Additionally the company is KOSHER certified for the sodium, calcium and barium sulfonates and sulfonic acids it produces.
Likewise, our overbased calcium sulfonates in white mineral oil or in synthetic oil, also have the HALAL certification.

Sulfonatos de Sodio
Son productos semi-sintéticos de peso molecular alto, medio y bajo, solubles en la mayoría de aceites básicos minerales y sintéticos así como en alcoholes y solventes orgánicos. Son utilizados como emulsificantes, inhibidores de corrosión y preventores de herrumbre en aceites para la industria metalmecánica, en aceites textiles, dispersiones, flotación de minerales, entre otros.

Neutros y alcalinos, son utilizados como aditivos Detergentes/Dispersantes, Neutralizadores de ácidos, Inhibidores de herrumbre y corrosión en aceites lubricantes automotrices e industriales y recubrimientos anticorrosivos, agentes espesantes para la fabricación de grasas, incluyendo productos grado NSF.

Sulfonatos de Bario
Excelentes protectores contra la corrosión y herrumbre que no manchan a los metales amarillos. Debido a su alto peso molecular y bajo contenido de cloro, poseen excelentes características de desplazamiento del agua por lo que son usados en una gran variedad de aceites industriales, aceites de corte, recubrimientos anticorrosivos, grasas y aceites automotrices.
