Quimica Liposoluble began operations in 1984.

Since its foundation, the company has produced and supplied raw materials for the manufacture of lubricating oils and greases.

Quimica Liposoluble is widely recognized in the lubricant industry, where it has established technical and commercial relationships with some of the major participants in the industry.

Sulfonic Acids

Synthetic, high active content and low free mineral acids. They are used as raw material for calcium, magnesium, sodium, barium or polyamine sulfonates utilized in engine oils, metalworking fluids and fuel oil additives.

Sodium Sulfonates

High, medium and low molecular weight, soluble in the majority of mineral and synthetic base oils, alcohols and organic solvents. They are used as emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors and rust preventatives for metalworking industry, textile oils, dispersions and in mineral flotation among others.

Calcium Sulfonates

Neutral and Alkaline, used as Detergent/Dispersant additives, acid neutralizers, rust and corrosion inhibitors for automotive and industrial lubricating oils and anticorrosive coatings, thickeners for greases, including NSF approved lubricants.

Barium Sulfonates

Excellent rust and corrosion preventatives, non-staining on yellow metals. Due their high molecular weight and low chlorine content they have excellent water displacement characteristics which makes them suitable for formulating industrial oils, metalworking fluids, protective coatings, greases and automotive engine oils.
